The Udenna Group, together with Medshare International, the Duterte Cabinet Spouses Association, Inc., Smart Communications, Ayuda Foundation and Natural Logistics, Inc., has provided more support to the recovery of Marawi.

The group of about 70 companies helped deliver a 40-foot container full of medical supplies and equipment to Marawi last October 8, in partnership with Medshare International, the Duterte Cabinet Spouses Association, Inc., Amai Pakpak Medical Center, Smart Communications, Ayuda Foundation and Natural Logistics, Inc.

MedShare International donated the medical supplies and equipment. The Udenna Group helped with the processing of government clearances while closely coordinating with APMC and Medshare International. Smart Communications, meanwhile, sponsored the logistical costs while the Duterte Cabinet Spouses coordinated the whole initiative.

The Food and Drugs Administration and the Department of Health – Bureau of International Health Cooperation were likewise instrumental in the turnover of the medical supplies and equipment to Marawi.

Last July, the group also partnered with the Duterte Cabinet Spouses Association and World Surgical Foundation Philippines (WSFP) for a three-day surgical mission at Amai Pakpak Medical Center.

“We are committed to contribute more to efforts to help the people of Marawi recover and move on from the siege,” said Cherylyn C. Uy, president of Udenna Foundation, Inc.
